LEGO Denmark

The FTC "off season" continues to be full of great work. I spent last week in Billund, Denmark holding talks with LEGO. The purpose of the trip was to present our goals for the program and to talk about areas where LEGO may be able to help us grow.

The meetings were a success. Both groups now have a much better understanding of our respective objectives and how we can cooperate.

In the future you'll start to see FTC growing in other countries. Having a distribution partner like LEGO allows us to get the necessary products where they need to be. LEGO's history of developing and producing high quality products, and their ability to create high value learning experiences, are a great fit with the goals of FTC.

The folks in Denmark were great. We had the chance to understand not only LEGO's culture but a bit about Danish culture too.

Above is a shot of the LegoLand Hotel where we stayed - a nice reminder that we're all in this for the kids and a big part of that is making the FTC experience a fun one.
